About Us

Pickett's Legacy of Excellence

Born and raised in Fernandina Beach, Owner Steve Pickett has deep roots in this coastal community. He’s witnessed its transformation from a quaint hometown into a thriving vacation destination. This evolution brought an influx of new residents seeking luxury homes, a demand Steve expertly met when he founded Pickett Construction in 2003.

After 20 years, Pickett Construction has become synonymous with constructing breathtaking custom homes and innovative commercial projects. Building isn’t just a profession for us; it’s in our blood, passed down through three generations. The “Pickett” name carries a legacy of excellence on Amelia Island and throughout Northeast Florida. We believe in providing more than just a home; we offer a partnership that guides you through every step of the construction journey. From inception to completion, there will always be a Pickett family member (or two or three) at your service. This commitment to excellence isn’t just a promise; it’s a way of life for us, reflected in every project we undertake.

Our Mission Statement

Passion, craftsmanship, and dedication are what drive Pickett Construction to excel as one of Northeast Florida’s leading custom home builders. Our team culture and focus on client relationships have been key to our 20 years of success. Pickett Construction’s legacy is to build quality custom homes for homeowners who will forever become part of Team Pickett.
